NOVELny provides access to digital resources for all New York State residents. Additional titles were added this summer and they include:
- Contemporary Novelists (2001)
- French and Indian War (2003)
- Gale Encyclopedia of U.S. Economic History (1999)
- Harlem Renaissance (2001)
- International Dictionary of Films and Filmmakers (2001)
- Mexican American War (2003)
- NURSING AND ALLIED HEALTH COLLECTION (a collection of articles and reference books)
- Renaissance: An Encyclopedia of Students (2004)
- War of 1812 (2002)

NOVEL interfaces are problematic
The interface for NOVEL databases leave a lot to be desired, especially when connected to from Article Linker. In particular, Article Linker just dumps you into NOVEL and doesn't take you to the journal or article selected.
Is there something that can be done to fix this? If not, can some notification be put into place to alert users to this?
Novel interfaces and article linker
The Novel interfaces you mention are those from Gale. It would affect the Nursing and Allied Health Collection which contains full-text articles. I register displeasure about this with the vendor almost every time I talk with them. We have little leverage as we don't pay them for the access. Until they improve the software , there is little we can do. Sorry.
