Building Access During Entrance Door Modifications

Re.:  Case Library & Geyer Center for Information Technology (Case-Geyer) Entrance Door Hardware Modifications Notification
 
Please be advised that we will be modifying the hardware on various entrance doors of Case Library on both the 3rd & 5th floors. While this work is occurring, only the specific entrances being worked on will be closed during the “Work Periods” listed, all other normally used entrances will remain open. The work will progress as follows:
 
Friday, August 20, 2010: Electrical work for 5th Floor Terrace and Vestibule entrance doors adjacent to the Café. Work Period is 8 am to 4:30 pm. 
 
Saturday, August 21, 2010:  5th Floor, double exterior entrance door @ the terrace. Work period is 8 am to 11:30 pm. 
 
Monday, August 23, 2010:  3rd Floor, double exterior entrance door facing JB Colgate. Work Period is 8 am to 4:30 pm.
 
Tuesday, August 24, 2010: 3rd Floor, double exterior entrance door facing Student Union. Work Period is 8 am to 4:30 pm.
 
Wednesday, August 25, 2010:  5th Floor, double interior vestibule entrance doors adjacent to Cafe. Work Period is 8am to 11:30 pm.
 
Friday, August 27, 2010: Final adjustments/cleanup. Work Period is 8 am to 4:30 pm 
 
Wednesday, September 1, 2010: 5th Floor, Work will be performed on Café and Flex Room entrance doors, while also installing filler pieces to the sides of existing exterior terrace door thresholds. Access and all night study spaces in the Café and Flex Room will be closed during this work period. Work Period is 10:30 pm to 9:30 am.
