Thanks for bearing with us - both Encore and the Classic catalog are back up.
I found in my email this morning sad news. One of my favorite authors, Russell Hoban, died yesterday.

I was one of a privileged few who subscribed to his cult fan-club email group, the-Kraken. Besides discussing the books and sharing the joy of finding another mention of Russ's works in the larger world out there, the-Kraken celebrated Russ's birthday, each Feb. 4, by participating in the SA4QE - Slickman A4 (paper) Quotation Event, documented here. May you all have a writer in your life whose words so inspire you to celebrate mystery and humanity.
Encore is back up. It didn't come back nicely after a routine reboot, and the vendor had to correct the problem. Sorry for any inconvenience.
The ConnectNY catalogs (classic and Encore) will be unavailable starting at 11AM Tuesday July 6th and lasting several hours while software is upgraded to the latest versions. The Colgate local catalogs will still be available.
We will be upgrading the library catalog software on Wednesday evening June 16th. Downtime will be 9:30-10:30PM.
The Connect-NY server will be unavailable Tuesday May 25th for migration to new hardware. We expect it to be accessible again on Wednesday.
Encore will be down for about 15 minutes on Wed. May 12 for software updates. The classic catalog will still be available throughout that time. The downtime will be sometime between the hours of 10AM to 1PM.
The library catalog will again be down for 15 minutes at 7:30AM Thursday morning to correct the problems in some screens in Internet Explorer. Our apologies for those problems.
The Library Catalog will be unavailable briefly on Saturday night at 9:00PM - 9:30PM while we put on our spring finery. Look for a change of (inter)face!
We will have a brief outage of the Library Catalog Friday morning at 8:10AM. We expect it to take only 10 minutes.
